Those were words Liam Kearney heard more than once when Revive was just an idea.
Last week, Revive's CEO, Liam Kearney, filmed his story as one of the 24 finalists in the 2026 EY Entrepreneur Of The Year Ireland programme. It was an opportunity to reflect on where the journey began, why Revive was built in Tipperary, and how a vision for a more sustainable future grew into the business it is today.
Looking back, the path was far from straightforward. There were challenges, setbacks, and moments when others questioned whether it was possible to build a manufacturing business of this scale and ambition from the heart of rural Ireland. But from day one, Liam and Co-Founder Micheál Boyle shared a belief that there was a better way forward.
They chose the harder route because they believed in the vision, believed in the opportunity, and believed that building something meaningful and lasting would be worth the effort.
What makes this achievement particularly special is that it reflects far more than the efforts of two founders. It represents the dedication of the entire Revive team, whose commitment, passion, and drive help bring that vision to life every day.
